Cup of Comfort

A cup of hot British tea equals bliss. :-) I first discovered hot tea when I went on the UK trip last year. We drank a steaming cup all the time-in the crisp mornings, during meals, after meals, before bed, and any time in between. Not only does hot British tea warm you from head to toe, it also soothes your spirit. You are transported to a state of complete ease. On the way home from England, I was already missing having a cup of tea whenever I needed it. When I stepped into my home in St. Louis, I was facing a tealess existence until I remembered...

Mi madre went to the London Tea Room and bought a green tea pot that looks something like this little guy....

We still need to come up with a name for him...ideas would be welcome! :-)  Anyway, my family and I enjoy a cup, or two, or three of hot British tea every day. Who could refuse a steaming cup of comfort?

  1. My mom and I just got home from Global Foods and bought enough loose-leaf teas to bathe in. Oh, the joys of tea!

  2. Hannah speaks truth. How on earth did we ever survive the stress of life before without our cuppa?
